Collect and Donate Food
Donating just $5 in groceries each week for the Cupboard really helps us to keep our shelves stocked for local families who may need food. If you are interested in doing something bigger, contact us so that we can help to promote your effort. Donations can be dropped off at any church in the Denmark area.
Support the Cupboard Financially
Every part of the Community Cupboard is overseen by volunteers. This means that every dollar you donate is put to work in our community. We provide our neighbors with bread, eggs, milk, bananas, potatoes, and butter, among other foods. We purchase the fresh foods from local businesses to supplement donated canned and boxed items. Your donations help us to provide these fresh foods to neighbors in need from neighbors who care.
Donate Your Time
Volunteers are the lifeblood of our Cupboard. They help in so many ways--collecting and stocking food, delivering to home bound neighbors, fundraising, preparing our Thanksgiving meal, and creating bags full of nutritious food for children on the weekends. There is always a need for help, even if it means we're standing around visiting with our neighbors. If you're interested in helping in any way, please contact us.
